The check-in agent · “Leonardo”
Your clients hear from you before a competitor calls them.
The check-in agent calls the clients you have already helped: a few weeks after settlement, every few months after that, before a fixed rate ends and when rates move. It asks how things are going, listens for what has changed, and books you in when there is a reason to talk.
Where it stands, honestly. The check-in agent is built and tested offline. It has not made a real call yet. Its first calls will be to The Finance Family's own clients, after a compliance review of the script. Founding licensees join after that pilot has results.
When it calls
A schedule you set, and events that matter.
Every timing below is a setting. You can change the offsets or switch the schedule off.
Day 20
Around the first repayment: checking everything has gone smoothly.
Day 180, then every 90 days
A short check-in. The call nearest the anniversary uses a one-year framing.
Fixed rate ending
Calls at 90, 60 and 30 days before a fixed rate ends, where your records hold the date.
When rates move
Record a rate change and every eligible client gets a check-in, without doubling up on recent calls.
- One person, one call. Two loans for the same person produce one call, not two.
- Never pestered. No two check-ins within 30 days for the same person, whatever triggered them.
- No flood on day one. Switching the agent on never dials your whole back book at once; missed schedule calls roll to the next one.
- Lists on demand. Pick a list (past clients, stalled pre-approvals) and launch it when you choose.
On the call
It gathers facts. You give the advice.
In lending and advice, a recommendation from a machine is a legal problem, not a feature. So the check-in agent never recommends a lender or product and never quotes a rate. Fixed code screens what it says, and swaps in a safe line if it strays.
Opens as your AI assistant
"Hi, it's Morgan's AI assistant." Your name, your firm, the name you give the agent, and a recording notice, in the first breath.
Remembers the last conversation
It reads its own notes from earlier calls, and your last meeting summary, so it never re-asks what it already knows.
Hands to a human
If the client wants to talk to you, it books a time straight into your calendar, with the reason written down.
Voicemail, then a text
Plan for most calls reaching voicemail. It leaves one short message, sends a text, and tries at most twice.
A summary in your inbox
Within minutes of every connected call: the result, any booking, why the client is staying or might move, and any opt-out.
