Compliance
An AI calling your clients has to be the most careful caller on your team.
These rules are enforced in code, around the model, not left to its judgement. A licensee can make them stricter. None of them can be switched off.
It says it is an AI
The opening line names your firm, says it is your AI assistant, and gives the recording notice. Pretending to be human misleads the client and exposes you.
Recording only with consent
Every call opens with a recording notice. If the person declines, nothing is recorded, and the call continues only if you allow unrecorded calls.
Legal calling hours
In the recipient's own time zone: weekdays and Saturdays inside the permitted hours, never Sundays or public holidays. You can narrow the window, never widen it.
Do Not Call register
Numbers need a recent check against the register before they are dialled. The only exception is your existing client, and only if you switch that basis on.
One opt-out covers everything
"Take me off your list" adds the person to your do-not-call list for every agent and every channel, is confirmed once, and ends the call.
No advice, no rate quotes
The agents gather facts and book a human. Code screens what they say for recommendations and rates and replaces them with a safe line.
No pestering
Retries are capped, voicemails are short and carry no account details, and a person is never called twice for the same reason in quick succession.
Every change is tested
Each script is a named version. A changed script has to pass offline tests before it is published, and every call's outcome is tagged for review.
Personal details stay out of logs
Phone numbers are stored hashed in our call records, and our logs carry reference codes, not names or conversations.
Your data
Where your calls are processed, in writing.
Speech recognition and the agent's voice run in Australia. Where every other part of your data is processed and stored, and for how long, is written into your licence before your first call, not discovered afterwards.
Your clients, your data. We use your leads and recordings to run your service and nothing else. Reading CRM notes and earlier calls is covered by your own privacy notice to your clients, because the agent calls on your behalf.
Different uses, different rules
Why the check-in agent travels further than cold calling.
Rules for AI calls differ by country and by relationship. This is how we read them today; it is not legal advice, and your licence confirms what applies to you.
| Use | In Australia | Elsewhere |
|---|---|---|
| Cold calling for lead generation | Allowed with conditions: Do Not Call checks, calling hours, caller identification | Largely blocked for AI voices without prior consent, for example in the United States and the United Kingdom |
| Your own prospects who did not go ahead | Depends on how recent the enquiry is | Varies by country |
| Your existing clients (check-in) | Strongest footing: an existing relationship | The most portable use, especially with consent captured when the client signs on |

We would rather lose a sale than put an agent on a call it should not make.
